Lime Academy Ravensbourne is a special school for pupils aged 2 -19 in the London Borough of Havering. The number of pupils on roll is currently 80. Ravensbourne joined the Lime Trust in September 2019.

Lime Academy Ravensbourne caters for pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs, including complex physical and medical needs. Our staff work hard to ensure that pupils have access to a creative and purposeful curriculum that develops independence and promotes pupil voice. We provide an exciting, safe and challenging multi-sensory learning environment that recognises and adapts to the needs of every individual. Pupils are well cared for, guided and supported to make the best progress in all areas including personal development and well-being.

The school was rated good by Ofsted in January 2019. The inspectors commented that: “Pupils make good progress from their starting points, particularly in their personal development. This is because teachers know how each pupil learns best… Pupils sustain progress in communicating and moving towards independence in learning.”

“Small steps, great strides, to acknowledge, aspire and strive”
