Our staff well-being and training is paramount to ensuring we put our learners first. As a Trust of 8 schools there is continuous CPD on offer to all levels of staff.  We are heavily investing in training for our people through our People Strategy.

All teachers beyond an Early Career Teacher (ECT) are encouraged to complete a National Professional Qualification (NPQ) with Ambition Institute. This aims to raise the quality of teaching and learning across the Trust, create a common language and pedagogy, enabling our teams to work across schools supporting each other to raise the bar for our learners.

All senior leaders are also offered NPQ’s enabling the golden thread to permeate all we do. HT, DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead) and DDSL receive clinical supervision termly.

Support staff career pathways are under development and all staff receive an initial professional development audit and an annual review to consider each person’s future training plan. We firmly believe in growing our own and encourage our staff to grow towards becoming teachers where possible.

From September 2024 we will become a lead provider for Initial Teacher Training (ITT) in partnership with Ambition Institute.
